I like Verbruggen a lot, and if we didn't have Kinsky I'd be happy to go all out for him. I don't believe he's a big enough upgrade (if at all) on AK to pay a lot for, though.
Give our guy the season. If he ends up not working out, we can go back from Verbruggen next summer.
@NickSmetana It really would, and I think that would be such a shame without being given a real shot. Agree it's definitely a risk , but think those games earned him the chance. He couldn't have done more!
@dannykellywords All the very best, Danny β₯οΈ (and for the love of god please have a family member ensure that the people taking care of you are wearing FFP2/FFP3 masks and not putting you at risk)
Manchester United are plotting a β¬65M move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero this summer.
The Argentine centre-back is viewed as a priority target, with United keen to add leadership and top-level experience to their defence ahead of next season.
Matt Ritchie has been named Bournemouth's new technical director.
Bournemouth feel Ritchie represents the DNA of the club, while he has a strong relationship with Tiago Pinto.π
@RebootBased@Thfcaditya_v4 He was a very big factor in our eventual survival, he's got an excellent mentality and tons of potential. It would be incredibly stupid to throw that away before we've seen him have some time under a proper coach in a functioning team.
@RebootBased@Thfcaditya_v4 Sorry but this just isn't true. He wasn't a huge reason at all. The huge reason was that all of our senior creative players were injured or playing terribly (Xavi) for large parts of the season.
Nobody said he'd be a world beater.
