This is how thieves can swipe your bag without you noticing. I lost my passport and my devices, so couldn't fly home. Ten men, every single one of Pakistani migrant background, were convicted today in a British court for attempting to murder a mother and her 13-year-old daughter by petrol-bombing their Stoke-on-Trent home in 2021.

The gang demanded one man, then doused the house in petrol and set the mother on fire in front of her child. The 31-year-old mother suffered 65% burns and was in a two-month coma. The 13-year old girl suffered 15% burns. Both forced to jump from a first-floor window.

This wasn’t “youths” or “Asians”. The perpetrators were identified as Shakil Uddin, Lukman Khan, Riyadh Iqbal, Muhammad Sufyaan-Shah, Tayyeb Majeed, Ali Abbas, Haris Mahmood, Naveed Hussain, Kashif & Bilal Ahmed.
