@longtwerp@cmuratori Let say you're a seller and you want to put a different price on viewing your art for enjoyment, vs viewing your art to inspire future art, because those two cases likely have different market values.
In the case of humans, it's impossible to permit one without the other.
@Romy_Holland If you push for blue, you must convince 51% of people to get the outcome where everyone lives. If you push for red, you'd need to persuade 100% of people to get an equally good outcome
Sure, there's the downside of risking yourself, but idk why no one articulates the blue upside
@4vataruniverse One of Iroh's core traits is humility. If he thought he stood no chance against Ozai, he would have just said "I can't" with no embarrassment. The writers are saying those two are in the same league.

@geistgrail@yawaramin@onehappyfellow Sure, just if it _is_ released as advertised, good faith critics would say they made a bad prediction.
Bad faith critics would shift to a next-most-convenient criticism or retroactively claim they meant that weak definition of vaporware (which can't have a negative connotation)
@yawaramin@onehappyfellow That definition of 'vaporware' should have no negative connotation because then every software ever has been vaporware at some point.
It actually refers to software that one expects will never be released or will be released in a form that doesn't match the advertising.
@yawaramin@onehappyfellow You think it's trivially true that a public jai release will result in a chorus of surprise and public retractions from people who called it vaporware?
I hope you're right!
@nicbarkeragain Even if you stipulate I get the same result, being engaged in the task the entire time feels better than having to fill time while some process runs
@nicbarkeragain Probably true ๐. A reason I'm not enthusiastic about AI assisted programming is people saying "I can grab coffee while my agent does X" like it's a great thing.
Cue PTSD flashback of big tech job with 30 minute compilation time. Slow feedback loops take the fun out of it for me
@oldyzach@pikuma My friend and I would play as a team in Nascar Thunder 2003. One of us would drive normally and the other would drive like this to take out the competition.
