🚨 UPDATE | Detectives are continuing a significant investigation into the disappearance of teenager Taylor Charlton in Barnstaple - four weeks after he went missing.

Enquiries have seen officers gather and review a substantial amount of CCTV footage from the area.

The last confirmed sighting of Taylor is on CCTV near a footpath close to Tarka Leisure Centre and the Seven Brethren car park, Barnstaple, at 10.41pm on Friday 8 May. He is seen heading in the direction of the River Taw.

Detectives are keen to speak to any remaining witnesses, who have not yet been in contact with police, who were in the area at the time and may have seen Taylor.

While all lines of enquiry remain open, there is no evidence at this time that a third-party was involved in Taylor’s disappearance.

Senior Investigation Officer Detective Inspector Charlotte Heath said: “Taylor is last seen on CCTV at 10.41pm near the footpath between the Tarka Leisure Centre and Seven Brethren car park, Barnstaple.

“We would like to hear from anyone who was in that immediate area at or around that time on Friday 8 May and thinks they may have seen Taylor.

“Detectives have obtained and reviewed a large amount of CCTV and spoken to many people already, but it is important that we are aware of all possible information at the exact point that he went missing in order to try to establish what has happened.

“Whilst every effort has been made to collect CCTV, if you are in possession of any CCTV or digital recording in that immediate area at the relevant time, please get in touch with us.

“Our thoughts remain very much with Taylor’s family, who continue to be updated and supported by specially-trained officers.

“We are grateful to the public for their significant support regarding this matter.

“We are aware of continued speculation on social media and would remind people to avoid sharing any unconfirmed information online as this makes the investigation more challenging.”

Taylor is around 5ft 8ins tall, of muscular build, with dark brown hair and a moustache. He was last seen wearing a bright blue fitted top, jeans and bright blue Nike shoes.

Taylor’s mum Zoe said: “Taylor, I am absolutely desperate for you to come home. I love you so much and I am worried sick about you.

“You are not in trouble. Please reach out to someone. We are all waiting for you with open arms.”

Taylor’s dad Alex added: “If there is anything anyone knows, please come forward. Taylor is a loving, loyal and special lad and we can’t wait to have him home again.”

Missing - have you seen Riley?

We are concerned for his safety and urgently want to hear from anyone who has seen him.

Riley is missing from the Kirkby In Ashfield area since 3:25pm on Tuesday 2 June 2026 but is believed to now be in the Skegness area in Lincolnshire.

Riley is described as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, slim build, bright blonde hair. It is unknown his clothing description.

Let me categorically Debunk this utter rot. @sainsburys.

I am a poultry Breeder. The hens that lay white eggs (Amberline/White Star) DO NOT have a lower carbon footprint.

Yes they eat a bit less and produce roughly the same amount of eggs as the Brown egg layers (Bovan/Lowman/ISA Brown) but they live shorter lives, are prone to dying suddenly when startled, a flighty and nervous and because they live shorter productive lives (12 -18mnths) vs brown 18/24mnths (both commercial farmed), you have to incubate more which is increased (Electricity/gas costs) and their eggs are not the same quality.

I breed and keep 20+ different breeds, including: ISA Brown hens and White Stars. All my hens are 100% free range, Not a single barn kept bird, I have ISA browns that are 5yrs old and still laying beautiful Brown eggs, I have not seen a White star live beyond 3yrs and certainly none have laid eggs past 18-24mnths.
White stars Lay themselves to death. They are slender birds and because they dont eat a lot, it drains their personal vitality to keep up laying the eggs you want to sell because of the nonsensical lie that they are "More Carbon Neutral"

You want to know about eggs, come talk to someone like me, Don't rely on some hairbrained imagination of a buyer who's trying to squeeze the profit margin for a few extra pennies at our expense and to the poor hens detriment.

Maya, aged 14, was last seen yesterday morning (Wednesday 3 June) at her home address.

She is described as being approximately 5ft 2ins tall and of slim build with long hair dyed red and brown eyes.

Maya was last seen wearing a Superdry bomber jacket, a navy-coloured jumper and black trousers.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
