When taxes are paid, the expectations are to construct good roads, improve transport areas, education, security, medical among others.
We ought to have discipline on resource utilization and expenditure. Once our government looks into those areas, we believe that we shall be on the right course. ~ Garry Kizito, Assistant Commissioner Compliance Management

Let me start with a clear disclaimer: I am not a sycophant. I have never attended any birthday run, I am not seeking any public office, I have never met Janet, her children or her hubby and I am definitely not sponsored by anyone to write this. I am simply reflecting as a private citizen who actually uses their brain and this is my opinion not the official position.
Where is Janet Museveni? That is the frantic question currently flooding social media, with some commentators loudly claiming that citizens have a right to know the whereabouts of the First Lady.
But let us pause and ask, if her husband, Yoweri Museveni, or her grown children have not asked us to help look for her, who are we to raise the alarm? Do the loud mouths on social media have more of a stake in her life and her health than the family she has lived with for over fifty years?
For decades, Mama Janet has been the absolute blueprint of grace, stoicism, and unwavering dignity. In a world of loud, attention-seeking personalities, she has mastered the quiet power of presence.
She could afford the most expensive human hair wigs, the most intricate braids, and the most lavish stylists in the world. Yet, she has famously maintained her simple, signature short hairstyle—coined as the "Janet Cut"—for decades. Her nails are always simply cut and she dresses with an extreme, unshakeable sense of decency many of today's women lack.
She has never been dragged into a public spat or been involved in a public scandal. She is a devout, God-fearing woman who sets the gold standard for how an African woman should carry herself.
Let’s be honest: President Museveni is not an easy man to be married to. No revolutionary leader is. But Janet has handled this monumental task with legendary poise.
She stood by him in the bush when death was just a bullet away, and she didn't run when he was broke and the future was entirely uncertain. She has never disrespected him in public or spoken a single ill word about him to the press.
Even when they quarrel and fight fiercely behind the scenes—as any normal couple does—she understands the assignment. In public, she always fronts a face of absolute respect, team player and submission to him.
She didn’t adopt the aggressive, public-shaming tactics of other regional First Ladies like Kenya's late Lucy Kibaki. Janet has always protected her husband's image with a fierce, quiet loyalty.
Furthermore, it is incredibly foolish for anyone to blame her for her husband's decisions. Those are decisions he takes as a leader of the nation, not as her spouse. She is not the President.
The ultimate proof of her success is her daughters. They grew up in the corridors of the State House, surrounded by power and limitless privilege. Yet, they are some of the most humble, down-to-earth, and cultured women you will ever meet. They are a direct, living reflection of their mother’s values.
This brings us to the shamelessness and low class of the keyboard warriors who insult her. They possess nowhere near her moral standards. For the youth who abuse her online, it is a sad reflection of their own lack of values and home training.
African tradition expects any cultured person to respect their elders. Janet Museveni qualifies as the mother of the nation, and she deserves that baseline respect.
Is Janet Museveni an angel? Not at all. Has she made mistakes? Of course. So have her critics.Let the sinless cast the first stone. But before you stone the splinter in her eye, be sure to clear the log from your own.
While the rumor mill churns and people scream for "answers," Janet Museveni continues to live by the same principles that defined her youth: God, family, and quiet dignity. She has nothing to prove to the gallery.
Until H.E asks us to help him locate her, tebitukwatako. We pray that she's well and if not, may God keep watching over her.

The debate about @ReachDrMuganga ‘s citizenship returns.
First thing, let us agree that the man is learned, has great ideas and is a good fit for the job.
Secondly,
Dr. Muganga’s grandparents came to Uganda before independence, before there was even a Ugandan passport or Ugandan citizenship to speak of. So he is a 3rd generation Ugandan.(In Luganda they call these ones, Kasangwawo, Kawo ka dda)
He studied on gov’t scholarship at MUK for bachelor’s and that is not given to foreigners.
He has openly spoken about his citizenship issues in the media so you can do your research online and find all the interviews he has done about this.
