@SawyerMerritt @Tesla The future is now.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

It was actually very interesting today. It’s cool to hear this stuff straight from the big dogs. So much nicer than reading a report. Good explanations, and answered questions in what I thought was a pretty honest way. Elon also posted afterwards and said next one will be a video. 🙌

@solomonneas @milichab @bot Please do tell the backstory on this!

@niccruzpatane @Tesla @UnrealEngine Makes me want to buy a new Tesla just to see it in the new app.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

@MissJilianne He didn’t fully shut it down. He basically said the majority of Cybercabs would be part of Tesla’s fleet. He didn’t explicitly say they wouldn’t be sold to the general public.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

@QuietTesla It’s like Christmas morning every time you drive it. One of the best decisions you can make. Congrats!

Tesla's Q3 call in 3 big moves:

Cybercab: public unsupervised rides launch in Dallas next month, and the Austin fleet grew 10x in about a month.

Optimus: production has started in Fremont, with the line built for million-unit scale. Elon expects it to be fully ready by the end of next year.

Chips: the first test chip for Tesla's next-gen AI chip lands in May or June 2027, with volume in Q3 2028. Terafab, the 100M sq ft chip plant in Texas, is being built to make chips at that scale.

The car company era is ending.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

FSD Unsupervised could reach customer cars in select U.S. areas in Q2 2027, and owners could add them to the robotaxi network. My Model Y might end up with a better side hustle than me.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

Asked about a possible SpaceX merger, Elon said he's 'tiptoeing through a minefield' on what he can say.

Elon: Tesla's first test chip for its next-gen AI chip arrives in May or June 2027, with volume production in Q3 2028.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

Elon called Optimus the biggest product on Earth but tempered expectations. There's about a year of work left, and he expects the AI, the electromechanical design and the reliability to be ready by the end of next year.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

Elon on Optimus: Fremont is set up for million-unit production. Getting to a rate of 20,000 bots a week will take at least a year, and growth will follow an S-curve because 10,000 things have to go right first.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

Elon on the call: FSD is the biggest growth driver. The numbers back it up: 1.74M active subscriptions, and more approvals are coming in new markets.

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

@Tesla Here’s to the future! 🚀

[Alec Mickelson @TheAlecMick]

@butala_aryan @Tesla Finally looks like it was made for the iPad instead of stretched to fit it. Beautiful.

@bot @elonmusk If Bots get a share button on your phone, they should get a tab in your Tesla too. https://t.co/kQgKfi2OUG

Feature request for @Tesla: a Grok Bot tab in Messages.

Your @bot does the work while you drive, then reads you the results.
