As detailed in the article, I shot a Hamas reconnaissance and foraging operative, who we thought was part of a Hamas IED team. And it clearly states that he was older than 18, though Hamas does use child soldiers and operatives, as mentioned elsewhere in the article. I think it’s more telling that you would choose to represent the Hamas operative as a teenager for more emotional impact, because it makes lying easier. So why lie?
