@KBoldZiel Two things can be true at once. I’m a big supporter of custom seas and was bit surprised by the negativity. For a community that’s so creative people are acting like tools for that are worthless. But also the game is dying and the decline over the last 3 years is noticeable.

@cptn_rick @DoubloonCaptain This is the realest content can be. It’s a sandbox game and they’re giving the tools to make experiences that’s really hard to do now. Not stuff that you just do for comms and forget about a week later. The last year was been terrible but this is a real positive update.

@KingHotdogPig @SeaOfThieves Well said, I agree. I’m mad at rare as a whole and who keeps jotoro and Shirah employed. The whole CM/mod team needs restructuring. It’s frustrating we won’t hear anything, even if that’s how stuff like this works, but hopefully we see actions being taken, starting with the above

Here’s all that’s happened in the past 6 days since the Bruno files were leaked:

Bruno gets revealed as a pdf to the public (finally), the evidence of his actions are posted, along with evidence of Community Managers J0toro, Christina, and Shirah (all employees of Rare LTD btw) and Moderators Taaamas and Badger all protecting him, and defending him in these actions, acting as if they are just false accusations.

Discord server was put on 6 hour cooldown along with mass deleting of messages to silence the public from revealing information. People are mass muted and/or banned out of the discord.

Silently, Bruno gets his boatswain removed, then he gets banned

People explode and freak out online (rightfully so)

People explain clear as day that Bruno and other accomplices (Murph) were protected and elevated to higher community positions by the Community managers for over a year’s time knowingly he, a 30+ year old, made sexual comments with a teenage child (With ample evidence of that too), and demand the other people involved be held accountable.

Nothing gets said.

Days go by.

Rare puts out a vague- corporatized- legally protected ambiguous statement puppeteered through their account by Microsoft so they do not get shut the fuck down, they didn’t even apologize ONCE. Neither did the CM’s involved. Not a single person accepts this pathetic excuse of a statement.

People still post evidence and freak out and protest (rightfully so)

Bruno and accomplices try to privately and publicly defer blame and make themselves the victim, then get eaten to death for it by the community, then disappear and delete all social media presences

Community managers come back out of nowhere on a Monday morning and are cheerily acting the same way they did a week prior pretending like nothing happened while banning and muting people who keep trying to speak of it
(Yes, J0toro and Shirah are actively in the discord pretending like NOTHING happened).

Rare Ltd at this point needs to be under full investigation with J0toro, Shirah, Christina being fired and all Mods: (Taaamas and badger etc) being put on a permanent blacklist from accessing any Microsoft content of any kind. The entire Community moderation team needs a revamp.

What the fuck has this game come to. May all of this come down crashing and burning.
