A SIGNIFICANT TORNADO OUTBREAK IS EXPECTED SATURDAY!!

A high risk has been issued for parts of Mississippi and Alabama for the threat of dozens of tornadoes including some strong to even violent. This includes the I20 corridor from Jackson through Birmingham, extending north to nearly the Tennessee border.

A MAJOR TORNADO OUTBREAK is expected today, despite the abundance of morning convection. Renegade supercells are forecast to develop ahead of and south of the convective line. Multiple rounds of tornadic supercells likely in a strongly sheared and unstable warm sector. This map shows the high risk along the mesocyclone tracks through tonight.

Today is the real deal just like last night in terms of tornado potential, but with greater moisture and instability.
