We are a new cell systems biology team @FBMH_UoM that studies cell adhesion networks in health and disease.
Fascinated by how adhesion proteins help cells function in so many ways!
@jestjaakjest Hi! An aspect of one of the projects will consider the mechanical properties of cells and their surroundings, so phys chem concepts like force and material properties are v relevant to this. An appreciation of how these concepts relate to cell bio would be useful.
