@borbalabranch My early English teachers taught me to alllllways use a comma before because. I have since learned to ignore most of what I was taught in public schools.
#querytip querying authors, in your bio if you don't have writing accolades, I still love knowing your day job and some tidbit about you. I read samples first and if I go back to your query, that's often missing (probably to keep things short). I mean, give me a sentence or two!
I just asked my son, "what wisdom do you have for me from your 5 years of life?"
He said, "2+2 is 4, 3+3 is 6, and 20... Is a number."
Too true, buddy.
Too true.
I'm back baby!! Got a new phone and forgot all my passwords, so I took a break from my socials. Came back and deleted a crazy aunt or two. Life is good now.
Just watched #dontlookupnetflix and man... I mean Idiocracy was funny because it was a bit of hyperbole, but this was too dang close to life to be funny.
Truth be told I ended up rooting for the comet.
Why is it whenever I'm having car issues the guy on the phone, or the internet, or the app will quote me a very reasonable price. Then not an hour later I get a phone call, "oh it's actually going to be $200 more than we said." Every friggin time.
Tonight, major thunderstorm warning. I hear a buzzing sound outside. Could be the tornado sirens, but it's too quiet. So I head outside. Wind is going crazy, tree limbs are flying around, and my neighbor is outside with a leaf blower "clearing" his driveway.
