18+ in the EN VTuber scene is an absolute mess.

Endless drama with Google Docs, massive public blow-up with Sinder, nanoless, shylily, Bao, and so many others over commissions. The coded and the not-so-coded misandrist comments, while exploiting the male simps looking for GF experience.

Just a massive high school-level drama of clout, jealousy, and parasocial relations combined with the guilt-driven tipping culture that keeps the lonely fans opening their wallets.

So many of these people hate men, and yet depend on the very men to keep their entire grift afloat. Then the zero-sum attention tied to revenue just amps up that whole drama space where things get catty between the VTubers behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, they play this wholesome fake good girl persona so that the simps will keep donating to them. Then they even hire fake chatters from overseas to engage with their top-tier subs with DM like good morning and good night, leaning into the intimacy, and even ownership with messages like "I'm only like this with you" type of thing...

Nicest is the biggest cope ever. The space is filled with two-faced snakes who are willing to throw each other under the bus while exploiting their fans. And in some cases, the drama itself is fake, with vague posts and other tactics to get the simps to white knight them with donos and superchats.

This is why so many people just hate VTubers, because this is what they see all the time, especially on the EN side...

An Arizona man was left PARALYZED after a false SWATTING after HACKERS released found his personal information (over video games), he even WARNED local PD that the Swat threats had been made.

Police IGNORED his warning, arrived in a no-knock raid and broke into his house by hitting a window with a SHOVEL, thinking his life/mother were in danger 24 yo Axeel Melendez grabbed his Mother's legally registered handgun (he did not fire) he was shot 8 times by police, shattering his leg, breaking his ribs and hitting his spine which left him permanently disabled.

It gets even worse. When he initially made the report, the Dispachther told him: "They can't just call SWAT on you. That's not how that works... nothing's going to happen." (that's exactly what happened)

And why did the Hackers do this? Because they were demanding money (blackmail, extortion) after they lost an online match in a video game.

It's utterly insane doxxing, swatting and posting people's personal information online isn't taken more seriously (should result in life in prison or the death penalty) and should 100% be treated as a 1st Degree Felony and attempted murder.

This story is absolutely sickening.
