Remind him of his potential and future possibilities.

It is far nobler to help a man rise than to crush him while he is already fighting silent battles.

Some men are not failing; God is fashioning them through the fires for greater things.

Be patient with them.
Stand by them.
Speak life into them.

Give him time, and one day you will hear or read the testimonies.
And how beautiful it will be to find your name in the acknowledgment page of his story — not as one who mocked his weakness, but as one who helped him endure.
