The first step to a Star Wars movie getting cancelled is being announced.
But, after Thor Love and Thunder, I think maybe Taika Waititi needs to go on a self-discovering spirit journey where he learns to be humble and not antagonize the baked in fan bases.
Though, in his defense, there really isn't a baked in fan base for Star Wars anymore... so maaaybe this would have been "okay?"
I really enjoyed the Legend of Korra.
But this "people who don't like it are (evil)" argument folks keep making is just... rote at this point.
Also, they're blaming a kid for the air nomad's extinction in order to excuse Korra for losing her past lives? Weird choice.
It's their creation, but it's still weird.
So, based on the review scores Street Fighter is likely to become one of least or all time favorite movies. When critics are responding that way, there's just no inbetween.
@erikkain Yeah. I didn't think that the joke was funny, but the amount of triggering is unreal.
Lots of thoughts. None I can coherently spell out at 8am on Twitter. Or... X I guess.
@erikkain I mean, I didnt ask for fury road or pans labyrinth by name, but I definitely wanted those movies.
You gotta gave your finger on the pulse of what people want.
I hope it's good, but the trailers for Clayface just look off putting.
@erikkain They could at least make the shill less obvious.
Also, what narrative are they going for here? Secret Wars was much more fun than it was dark.
@erikkain I overall really love the infinity saga. But I felt all the avengers movies were weak installments. I think I enjoyed infinity war the most overall (despite having poorly executed war scenes), but end game really poisoned it for me.
