While listening to the podcast "Your Website as a Cohesive Marketing Tool" I felt that one point that was stressed over and over was the fact that the website needs to be flashy enough to draw customers in but also straight forward enough for a smooth user experience. #RHUB290

While each of the market research resources is useful in its own right, the eMarketer tool specifically seemed to prove the easiest to use and most applicable. I thought Statista was equally useful however eMarketer provided background for the data they were providing. #RHUB290

For my bad news letter I have chosen to write about my company informing them of budget cuts for the upcoming year. While this does not affect each individual as much, it's important to remember that when delivering bad news you must understand the listeners perspective. #RHUB290

The main thing to remember when writing any sort of persuasive message is to understand that it is a sales pitch, and it has to be convincing. The AIDA method of organization is a good outline on what you need to include in order to accomplish this. #RHUB290

Obviously nobody loves to receive bad news but like the reading says it is important to understand that how the news is going to affect the person you're communicating with and deliver it appropriately. Similarly, good news can be equally hard to deliver in some cases. #RHUB290

@WasabiSabi76 While I also found it essential about how formal both emails and letters should be, the Write for Business "email" article also mentioned how emails should be used as a quick, concise form of communication. I will also keep this in mind when writing formal emails. #RHUB290

Overall I think the resume package assignment has been helpful for me. I am still putting some touches on the final drafts of each work but it has really opened my eyes to how necessary it is to have and maintain a professional image all the way down to your application. #RHUB290

Before reading the provided articles I knew formatting was important, but I didn't realize how many different formats both formal letters/emails could have. This relates to our class because it shows that if our resumes do not look professional they will not be up to par #RHUB290
