@SolarReaperYT @VisualFidelity @Rambuie911 It doesn’t, but it severely diminishes the worth of buying games from the PS store. It essentially turns PlayStation into nothing more than a games client like Steam or Epic games, but requires you to have $500+ worth of additional hardware to play it.

There are some very cheap AAA games of old on Steam, but look at the PS store where older games are often still full price and are cheaper to buy 2nd hand in Gamestop & CEX, etc.

@jackofallgames7 People saying no disc is a travesty, but it’s allegedly a 680gb game. BDXL is only 128gb. 6 discs needed to load the game? It was always gonna have to fit on more than one disc, or be like IJ Great Circle; part disc, part DL.
