We are not able to add a meaningful number of housing projects that leads to meaningful rent decrease. Which is why Manhattan is a more apt comparative, and Manhattan rents did not drop.

Also, building high rises on ocean front sand dunes in earth quake country is exactly why SF won’t become manhattan. Building single family homes isn’t the answer
