Colston Loveland on staying home for Draft Night:

"Even when I got to college, it was like, when I do get drafted, I've got to be home. You only get like 11 spots at the draft, and I've got a huge family, really everyone in my hometown is like family. So we said, 'All right, we're going to do this at home, we're going to make sure everyone can come. We had like 150, 200 people at the house, had to cap it off there, and then an extra 400 at the country club that we drove over to after I got drafted to party. They've seen me through it all, so much help and so many people who affected my life in a positive way are the reason I'm here today. It's about me getting drafted, but it's really about all of us."

These last 3 years have meant more to me than I can put into words. Thank you to the Chicago Bears organization for drafting me, believing in me, and welcoming me and my family with open arms. Chicago will always be a special part of my journey, and I’ll forever appreciate my teammates, coaches, staff, and all of Bears Nation for the love and support.

With that being said, I’m excited for this next chapter. Atlanta, I’m ready to get to work! Falcons fans, I’m excited to be here and ready to give everything I have to this team and this city. Looking forward to a great year! ❤️🖤

I don’t think there’s a reason to overthink this. Gervon Dexter wanted a second contract and he wasn’t going to get it from the Bears — who started to see more in Jordan van den Berg, Jaden Loving and even Kentavius Street. It happens. The rookies started to show more and more.

Not good. Coby Bryant just went down grabbing his left knee during a 1-on-1 rep vs Cole Kmet. He was clearly emotional as he got on a cart under his own power.

I’ll caution you that they are on the far fields so a cart is not unusual, but the fact that he was so emotional is concerning.

Very Very Overdue.. The fans and city of Chicago deserve this! To the city of Chicago, it’s been nothing but Love since the day I was drafted! The love , energy, passion of the fans I felt it immediately. Thank you for letting me live my DREAM, hearing my name called and being drafted! Also, welcoming my family and I for 4 wonderful years. Everything we been through from the start to get to here , it’s been a JOURNEY! One where these memories will last forever. Can’t say enough but great things about the city of Chicago and their beautiful fans! I Appreciate the fans for always showing up, no matter what you guys stay true! I mean it from the bottom of my heart, I will forever love you 🫶🏽 all the memories, everything. Seeing the 9 jerseys all around the stadium with the Brisker on the back was special and will always go a long way! I left it better than what I found it ! To my teammates, I thank you .. The love, support, memories, and brotherhood we built together over the years will forever go far! My Brothers for life . Grateful for the organization and every fan who loved me through it all.
