This week, the UCCM conducted its Q4 oversight visit focusing on Uganda’s island settings—recognizing their persistent vulnerabilities and strategic importance to the national HIV, TB, malaria, and RSSH response. Island communities continue to face significant barriers to

A partners’ debrief meeting will be scheduled to discuss findings and recommendations, ensuring transparency, shared accountability, and continuous improvement in health outcomes.

From 1st–5th Sept 2025, the CCM conducted a joint field visit across 15 districts of Uganda to oversee health programs in HIV, TB, malaria & RSSH.

Documenting insights to inform grant implementation & prioritization

Regions visited included West Nile, Central, Elgon and Western as well as RSSH-focused districts.

The 21st Ordinary CCM Board Meeting and Mid-Year Retreat is underway in Entebbe, bringing together key stakeholders to review progress and strengthen stakeholder coordination in the fight against HIV, TB, and malaria.

Today is #WorldMalariaDay. Over the last two decades, cost-effective, proven tools have averted billions of malaria cases and millions of deaths. But progress has stalled, and gains are at risk.
