The country boiled with outrage when a man dug up his sister's skeleton for money. But when a Gen-Z banker ends his life after enduring daily humiliation, shouting, and abuse from customers inside a branch, the silence is deafening.

No Orders in Groups… Only Threat Calls: The New Pressure Model in Banks❗️
Yesterday I wrote that there was no news of late sitting or pressure on bankers.
Within hours, my inbox was flooded with messages from bankers across regions. And what they revealed is disturbing.
After social media started exposing exploitation in banks, RM and ZM have stopped posting pressure messages in official WhatsApp groups.
But the pressure hasn’t stopped.
It has simply shifted to private phone calls.
Officials from Regional Offices are now calling Branch Managers and Second Officers individually, threatening them to open branches even on holidays.
Today is Second Saturday, an official bank holiday. Yet many branches across different banks are open.
No written order.
No circular.
No message in official groups.
Only phone calls and pressure.
If management truly believes opening branches on holidays is justified, why hide it?
Why no written instructions?
The truth is simple:
They want the work done without leaving any evidence.
Bankers are sitting in branches today not because of work…
but because of fear of their superiors.
This is not management.
This is silent coercion.
If any banker is facing such pressure, share your experience.
Your identity will remain completely confidential.
