That along with our current mouth tracker product needing its own continued development required us to postpone the eye tracking expressions release. We still plan on release this feature as soon as we physically have the manpower to push it to the finish line. (2/2)
Seeing this video circulate again, I wanted to give some reasoning to why it isn't out. Steam Frame shifted our plans in a big way for 2026, and we wanted to allocate our engineers (myself included) differently as soon as it was announced. (1/2)

Okok so would people rather have babble focus more on interoperability or on polish and tracking quality? Theoretically by removing some of the scope we’d be able to focus more on tracking quality of our devices but at the cost of DIY/other devices working worse.
Let’s see what this new year has planned for us all here in the DIY VR community. I’m proud of the work of the babble team team, and contributors have done to make 2025 one of the best years of DIY VR ever. I can promise you we’re going to make 2026 even better!
So like uh anyone know a headset manufacturer who'd want to run babble FT (or our new ET) as their native solution or will we just have to make a headset😅
