@DKemeridou "The sunrays blazed through the air
and the last drops of night dispersed.
I was born into the light of glares,
after the Universe I traversed."
Genre: Poetry (Love, Life and Loss)
@laurcunn Wow! Thank you so so so so much for this.
Unfortunately, the editor made a mistake and he didn't include the last two lines. When it comes to the photo, I made a mistake. It's "plank". That's why the poem is titled "Breeding violence" 😀
@SuffolkSuzi@laceydearie@VickyJones7 Make sure that you are writing in a room that's ventilated. If you can, write in the early evening, or early in the morning.
Writing during Summer is pretty much the same as writing during other seasons. The only difference is to make sure you stay healthy.
@SuffolkSuzi@laceydearie@VickyJones7 Also, writing is mental work, and mental work is more energy demanding than physical work. Because of that, it's important to stay hydrated. I recommend writing in short intervals rather than doing a 'sprint'. Take a break to drink a glass of water, or a cup of tea/coffee.
@SuffolkSuzi@laceydearie@VickyJones7 Most important thing, when writing during Summer, is not to forget to stay hydrated. Writing oftenly makes us lose track of time, and because of high temperatures and dry air, our bodies lose lots of fluids.
