I agree with this. No character has any development throughout the plot (if there even is one). It is a montage of big action scenes with some humor weaved into it.

All of the amusement is in seeing the unexpected cameos of other Nintendo IP. Still fun, I guess.

My furnace died.

HVAC tech said repair costs would be thousands of dollars and not worth it and quoted a new unit at $10k.

AI said it was likely the capacitor. It was $10.51. It worked.

AI just saved me $10k. Total victory.
