Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji should be careful of whom he meets. I know ordinary mortals like me who have defended @BJP4India in every forum, will never get a chance.
But people like @Mohanlal and @dulQuer will make it to 7 Lok Kalayan Marg whenever they want.
Now, these same people and their family have supported the violent protests by anarchists in Jantar Mantar. They have literally stabbed your Government in the back.
How come Vismaya Mohanlal and Dulquer Salman did not find time to post about the Delhi Police and RAF personnel who were brutally beaten up and stabbed by the so-called students at Jantar Mantar? Selective Amnesia.
And @ravi_major - Please stop defending Vismaya. You wore a uniform and i am surprised that you are defending Vismaya. She knew exactly what she was doing.

Every park in Bangalore should mandatorily have one Nandini stall open 6am-10pm

Advantages:
1. People coming to the park get tea/snacks and enjoy for longer
2. Income for the park for better maintenance, cleaning
3. More people coming = more safety

Gated societies are not India's future. Townships are.

Think about why gated societies became so popular in the first place.

It was never just about security. People wanted good roads, proper footpaths, parks, greenery, cleanliness... basically a place where they could step out without having to deal with the everyday problems outside.

But even the best gated society has one problem.
The moment you step outside, you're back to reality.

You still have to go to work. Your kids have to go to school. You have to visit hospitals, restaurants, shopping areas and a hundred other places. And you have to navigate the bad traffic, dirty roads, potholes on roads, etc.

That's where I think townships come in.
I recently visited Bhartiya City in North Bangalore.

It's spread across 125 acres and has residential societies, offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, parks... almost everything you need.

The roads, footpaths, greenery and public spaces are all maintained by the private developer.

You're no longer buying just a flat, but buying an entire environment/ecosystem.

And this is happening because people have slowly stopped expecting good public infrastructure from the government.

They'd rather pay a private developer to build and maintain it.

First we paid extra for a gated society.
Now we're paying for an entire town.
Think about how crazy that is.

People pay so much in taxes, yet they still feel the need to pay again for good roads, parks, footpaths, cleanliness and basic civic infrastructure because they don't expect to get it outside.

People are trying to escape the problems of India... while still living in India.

I genuinely think this is where Indian real estate is headed.

More townships. More self-contained ecosystems. More people choosing to live inside these bubbles because that's where they find the quality of life they're looking for.

Observation after driving nearly 1,000 km across expressways, multiple National Highways (NH 75, 69, 42, 44, STRR) and then descending into the hell that is Bengaluru’s city roads.

The expressways and National Highways are top-notch. Even where there are delayed links or unfinished stretches, the culprits are usually the same: hostile state agencies (as with the Bengaluru–Chennai Expressway), lethargic local bureaucracy, endless utility shifting(especially by state electricity boards) or land disputes and encroachments long after compensation has been paid.

One thing is clear: we’ve normalised the appalling quality of many city roads.

Ironically, the loudest outrage is reserved for NHAI precisely because its standards are so high that even minor flaws are amplified—often with malicious intent.

Point out the abysmal condition of city roads, however, and the conversation is too often hijacked by local chauvinism instead of demanding accountability.

Municipal authorities in cities like Bengaluru truly ought to be ashamed of the quality of roads they expect citizens to endure.
