Away goes the debris shield, and here’s our first look at the helicopter. It’s stowed sideways, folded up and locked in place, so there’s some reverse origami to do before I can set it down. First though, I’ll be off to the designated “helipad,” a couple days’ drive from here.
After 8 yrs study with the @OpenUniversity this is likely my last module result day but certainly the most special; the culmination of around 14 months research to finish an MSc in Engineering. Thanks to @IMechE and @TheLENASpace for supporting my research.
Busy wk @TheLENASpace with progress on our project to dev a 60kN LOx/Kero rocket propulsion system. Our in-house designed and mfd test rig enables testing of multiple propellants- the imgs show delivery of Liquid Nitrogen at -196°C used for the first stages of LOx pump testing
