YES BUY THE LATTE!! It's not about men Vs woman, and it's certainly not about the Lattes. Whoever you are it's about symbolically cutting down on a few wants (Vs needs) and putting that money into a savings pot. As savings grow, no matter how small, behaviour changes follow.
3 TOP TIPS TO HELP YOU START SAVING YOUR MONEY 💰
Last week I posted a blog about my own money journey so far, and how I saved £15,000, spent it ALL and am now trying to save £15,000 again... I have learnt a lot along… https://t.co/WBRCVg7LHS
@jessicaastephh One way you could look at the question - does the pleasure you feel from your shopping and the things you bought feel long-term, or was it just a temporary rush? Spending on stuff that gives you long term value is usually worth it! Quick fixes, not so much so.
Tired of saving pennies, when you'd like to be saving thousands of pounds? How good would it feel to have £2k safely stashed away? We've created a meet-up group which might just change your life. Join here: https://t.co/8HYycLrYLd #20SavingClub#savingmoney@Neil_Darke
@keenuhh We think SPENDING money on the things that give you true value and happiness is important - and has the odd effect of making you a better saver in the long run. Go for it! #20SavingClub
@4SavvyMums @YourMoneyCoachx Great article! "A great place to start is by adding up your monthly expenditure and working out where you can start to make savings TODAY." #20SavingClub
@simonnread@emmalunn @edgreav @AmeliaJMurray Third rule: Round-Ups are great, but only part of the picture. The whole point is they don't require you to think. To level-up from pennies and pounds here and there, to saving significant amounts requires a mindful approach to spending and saving. #20SavingClub
@Renee_Alise Nice shoes! Saving only works if it gives you more value than what you might get from spending. The question is, will the shoes make you happy in the long-term - or is it a quick fix?! #20SavingClub
@Whypz Clothes are good if they make you feel great! Saving is tough, but the question is does the stuff you spend on give you long term happiness or just short-term pleasure? A quick-fix? What would a healthy savings account feel like Vs a new this or that? #20SavingClub
@PygmyLoris Mindset sure won't cancel the bills! No question. But there isn't a person we've met who doesn't benefit from taking a tiny saving step (we're talking 89p here!) and then slowly, but surely seeing where that takes you. Even the 1p saving challenge nets £668 in a year.
@drivelcast @PygmyLoris Interesting strategy! If the question is how do I save when there is never any money left at the end of the month, maybe the answer is #20SavingClub - it can be done. No matches required.
