Hi Prof. Panda, I use my Kindle at bedtime to help me fall asleep, so this study caught my attention.
Modern eReaders now have warm light, dark mode, brightness settings. Very different from the bright iPad at max for 4 hrs in the 12-person 12 yo study. (Most are prolly only reading <1hr before sleep.)
Does this older study still apply much to todayβs eReaders? Curious on your take. Thanks!

Small correction here.
You donβt need to reach a core temperature of 102.3Β°F to activate HSP expression. And you definitely donβt need to sit in a 200Β°F sauna for 30 minutes.
The research shows HSP expression can increase by ~50% after 30 minutes at 163Β°F, with core body temperature rising to only about 101Β°F.
Sauna benefits (even those related to HSPs) donβt require extreme heat or pushing core temperature that high.
