@EricRSammons “rejecting Vatican II” is not a doctrinal checklist. It is spiritual isolation, a reservation in the communion of heart and mind. The veils, kneeling for communion, and “ad orientam” masses are simply its practical expression (as the left’s - “peaceful protest”)
@EricRSammons Ugh. I think adults should clearly understand the consequences of their choices, or dare I say convictions, and then endure them. Death to self is the way of the Founder. SSPX - pick up the cross
@JustAdaugoijele A very shallow spirituality alone would find this interesting or credible. I’m so sorry for holy church that has to suffer these reckless thoughts and words.
@thattradgal Our more central concern should be are we true to the church of Jesus Christ - a lot of what I see from “traditional RCs” Ciara me to ponder
@CatholicVote I fear that the bishops of the church are not busy enough about evangelizing the culture in their place of assignment so that they are free to opine about every other issue in every other place.
It’s official the Church has two new saints! Just moments ago in St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV pronounced the Solemn Formula of Canonisation and raised to the altars St. Carlo Acutis and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati. Orate pro nobis
It’s back-to-school season: You’ve got all the items on your kids’ supply lists, crisp and clean new outfits, and you’ve stocked the pantry with treats for their packed lunches. New backpacks and new shoes are lined up by the front door, and you’re feeling ready to go.
