The Nickle-Dimer

Unapologetic Big East fan. SEC sucks

[Barry @BarryOnHere]

Why is CJ Carr not unanimously considered a better prospect than Arch Manning?

[Greg Mortensen @Morty13]

When a Big 12 team loses to an unranked opponent, it’s proof the conference is weak.

When the #1 SEC team loses to an opponent with ZERO Power 4 wins, it’s proof the conference is deep.

You genuinely cannot make this stuff up. 😂

SEC math is undefeated.

[Nathan Carroll @Nathan_Boise]

The AP Poll is funny...

Oregon has wins over #23 and #19 in their poll, but close losses to #18 and #12, so they aren't ranked...

LSU has losses to #15 and #9... and has beaten... No one. Their best win doesn't have a single AP vote...

They're ranked 22nd.

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

Arch Manning is by no means a bad player. However, when are people gonna realize he is an average+ college QB. Guy is not a top 10 pick. He is gonna cost a NFL GM his job

[Joe Brisket @HeyJoeBaby]

It's still crazy to me that the chief criticism against Paolo Banchero since coming into the league is that he's 6'10, 250lbs and doesn't play physical enough.

Then Cam Boozer comes in with both skill AND physicality and it's, "I don't know if his bully ball will translate."

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@NotFinancialAdv @TheMobRules73 It doesn’t matter. Choosing to critique a show based on the gender of the characters is misogynistic. If you want to talk about the differences between show and books and complain on that front heard. I have little understanding but a basic one and get the books are different.

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@11xchampions323 @JoshPateCFB Hey just checking in 😀

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

Keon Coleman is better than Marvin Harrison I said it

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@NotFinancialAdv @TheMobRules73 You misogynistic fuck. The show is inherently about conformity vs curiosity. The themes mirror and explore central themes today in media, technology, censorship, and institutional control. Your takeaways are about spreading hate to a gender not reality. Be fucking better!

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@fuckbriankelly @PeteSampson_ Nah Marcus is right. 3 extra yards against UNC mid 3rd quarter in a monsoon is not worth the season possible. I understand the competitiveness but gotta be smart.

[First and 16 - A Big 12 Show @Firstand16_Pod]

If Mississippi States one spot drop feels off to you, it’s because it is.

In the history of college football there have only been two cases where a team fell less than 10 spots in the AP Top 25 after a 30+ point loss this early in the season.

1994 Tennessee fell 8 spots
1984 UCLA fell 9 spots

So yes, Miss States falling only one spot is not only an anomaly, it’s statistically unbelievable.

[John Massingale @JohnMassingale4]

We won by two scores and our QB was great in a rainstorm and our fanbase is very unhappy.

We aren’t in the BK era anymore.

[Pete Sampson @PeteSampson_]

Jonaz Walton.

This is the way.

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@SJonesey1776 @Xand3rSky @ProFootballPSI Look at what is directly behind the QB from his line of sight. A DT holding 65 so the stunt can get home. That’s what that specific flag was for.

[College Sports Only @CSOonX]

Have any NFL fans actually watched Arch Manning play QB???

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@coachkelley1 @PatrickMahomes @Chiefs The Dolphins committed another penalty on this play so this call was a difference of 5 yards — pretty much a moot point. Also I’m not a fan of soft bodyweight calls but the rule is in the book for this play exactly.

[The Nickle-Dimer @TheNickelDimer_]

@jasonwall @hottubfoot @pbenso @ChadNJensen Fair but he is right. The holding on 92 got declined by the cheifs when the refs announced it for the roughing. Difference of 5 yards. This shouldn’t be a controversial call because it’s pretty much irrelevant.

[Steve Carter @50stev]

Here we are again

Mizzou has no business being in the Top 25, but they always are

Overall the past three seasons:
• 0-9 against ranked teams
• 0-7 against teams that finish ranked
• Best wins: 8-5 Iowa, 5-7 Auburn

Yet they’ve been ranked 31/38 weeks in that span

SEC bias

[Ben Stevens @BenScottStevens]

Since the start of the 2025 season…

Missouri and Tennessee have NOT beaten an FBS team that either ended last year with a winning record or is currently above .500.

That’s 34 possible games in that span.

[The Grotto 🍀 @TGSTheGrotto]

Calling CJ Carr a “pussy” is certainly an interesting choice for someone who shoved CJ to the ground when he wasn’t even looking at him and then ran away from the confrontation.

Meanwhile the “pussy” CJ Carr got right back up, ran you down to talk shit to your face like a man and then proceeded to shove a TD right in your face.

Cowardly from #4
