Spent the last few years growing my hair out again, for another donation to Wigs for Kids. Cut 12-14" today.
Inspired to start doing it years ago, by ⚜️Legatron⚜️ @thomasmorstead
I guess @AMCTheatres feels like @Hasbro started a great trend:
How to alienate your customers, and devalue your shares.
Is this some sort of C-suite TikTok challenge for 2023?
@io9 OGL1.0a is a 23yo contract, understood irrevocable by all parties. They tried to revoke it by reinterpreting ONE word ("authorized") as present tense adjective not past tense verb. How can we trust a new MANY word license?
Screenshot from OGL FAQ on their website for 18 years:
We all make mistakes. I was wrong, I apologize. Hasbro/WotC are still evil, and still very screwed. There is no good faith and no compromise possible. #layoffs#DnDBegone#BoycottDNDMovie#hasbro#WotC
@_leoncleveland @lincodega Is it fair, or sneaky?
Any such provisions should be clearly written to be mutually applicable (in both directions).
If they are not willing to be subject to the same provisions they try to impose, BEWARE!
The apology from @Wizards is more than just PR spin it's based on a lie that I didn't want to expose yet
I had to move things forward to get the truth out there

It was a really smart business decision by Hasbro and WotC to toxify the Dungeons & Dragons brand two months before the release of the big budget movie that they hope will launch their own D&DCU.
@Wizards_DnD For any hope of reconciliation:
1. Release OGL 1.1 to be exactly 1.0, except with "irrevocable" added alongside "perpetual"
2. Provide PDFs of books bought on DDB, to assuage concerns re: money spent on something which clearly doesn't exist in a reliable and trustworthy format.
