First weekend thoughts on the Premier League 🏆🧵

#Arsenal - although only against Coventry, very good performance. Tzolis looks great, Saka looks fit & Havertz seems to be the #9. Bruno G, Timber, Saliba still to come back & potentially adding Julian Alvarez? Rightfully favourites

#Chelsea - front 3 scary, goalkeeper abysmal. Nothing we didn’t know. Thought #Fulham left a lot of space in midfield. Palmer benefitted from the summer off.

#ManCity - underwhelmed, although #Bournemouth no mugs. Haaland looked off it, Semenyo such a talent. Guehi in midfield won’t work, but Bouadi & possibly Enzo coming in will give them a crazy good midfield.

#ManU - big problems with more than one game a week. Tielemans looked like he was towing a caravan! #Hull looked solid, but similar to their last season. Still think they’re in trouble.

#Liverpool - underwhelmed. Isak looked miles off it & Gakpo looked like he had a point to prove. Szoboslai sublime again. Wirtz anonymous. #Newcastle looked well drilled, new manager looks impressive. Really like Osula. Newcastle very unlucky.

#Ipswich - looked fluid! Encisco a good player and Emersonn looks interesting. Might not be down just yet!
