Yeah it looks good but I feel it’s losing its touch with the theme even more than it already has. I havnt even played much of the ogs and feel this is warmer and happier.
Looks like on the visual side, the engine upgrade for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will focus on two main aspects:
-Overhauled lighting, improving Lumen's indirect lighting and reflections, as well as direct lighting and shadows.
-Reworked Landscape and Foliage, which will look denser and more natural.
These are all great additions, but I'm more interested in the performance side, especially CPU performance, which was a major issue at launch.
I'm planning to cover the new update when it launches, with comparisons between the day-one version (if I can access it) and the newest build, along with the usual in-depth look at the graphics settings and how they affect the visuals and performance.

Game runs fine for me on tsr native ultra 1440p 6950xt. Rtx is useless disable it helps a lot. Change settings to low don’t do to much. Lighting and shadows hit fps hard too. Game looks the same ish from low to high settings. Also it’s a beta.

We tested the Gears of War E-Day beta on modern PCs. The project built on Unreal Engine 5 puts an extremely heavy load on the graphics hardware.
In native 1080p resolution only the GeForce RTX 5090 reaches 60 FPS. Enabling DLSS or FSR Quality scaling allows the RTX 5070 Ti to hit 60 FPS.
The game efficiently utilizes up to 16 CPU threads and consumes up to 26 GB of RAM.

It’s so crazy to see all these bugs because when I played on Xbox besides some performance issues I got super lucky with only one major quest bug and a few little visual bugs. Most people experience is vastly different from mine and I got super lucky.
Okay let's chill with the revisionist history
Cyberpunk on launch was downright unplayable. A straight scam. It singlehandedly ruined CDPR's perfect reputation and was an unplayable buggy mess.
NOW after years of fixes, updates and dlc it's a masterpiece. It wasn't always.
You can not only see the difference you can feel the difference. 60fps must be made a world federal requirement for games. Only time you can let 30fps slide if it’s a cutscene. Even then it can be jarring. Formats for movies in low fps is completely different and harder to tell.
The best thing DICE could do for Battlefield 6 is get rid of the clunky BS. Get rid of ADS idle sway & lessen sway after a jump/slide, get rid of going up stairs slower, get rid of clunky strafing on slanted surfaces, ect ect
This would be a straight upgrade
All the people reposting this are honestly ridiculous. You clearly don’t know what this is. You don’t understand the state of the world. You lack critical thinking skills. Being upset or disappointed is understandable. But your reasons are ignorance.
This. Did absolutely nothing. Running co op all perks and max weapons etc still getting one tapped by boss or always swarmed by mobs or both at same time. To much spam and Tessie has no hp or boss keep grabbing Tessie. Doesn’t even feel like a challenge. To artificial.
Linus Tech Tips says he's "disappointed" the upcoming Steam Machine may not be priced like a console
"[Valve] asked what I meant by console price, and I said $500. Nobody said anything, but the energy in the room wasn’t great"
Has nothing to do with being lead. Most the time you see the glitch because a recon teammate using any gadget or thermal. In your case because the same thing but not as common because there is no recon. For some reason gadgets act like a team hud on use.
This thermal sight glitch seems to be related to either A. Squad lead having thermal sight and when ADS gives it to squad mates or B. depends on the class type selected with thermal. It looks connected directly to ADS from my buddy in my squad who was the leader. @DRUNKKZ3
You really don’t understand what this is do you… steam deck is $400-$650. If it’s really stronger than 6 decks it’ll be $750 minimum. It’s a pc that’s suppose to do 4k 60… and no “but but but console” because most console games still arnt true 4k60 without adaptive resolution.

I used the Neuralink to write code for an Arduino to allow me to control an RC airplane with a quad stick. The possibilities are truly endless. Thank you Elon and the entire team at Neuralink. I am honored to be part of such a great program. @neuralink
First time I’ve ever seen anyone use this vehicle correctly. The whole point is to place it near critical areas. Not in them. Driving around like a mad man makes you lose the vehicle and any advantage the vehicle may hold.
