PHF acknowledges the Iranian Culture and Art Club and all the great work done by Parvin Malek. The club continues its good work in Fresno and PHF thanks the club for all the joy the club brought to Dr.Yarshater during poetry nights at his home in Fresno.

PHF would like to acknowledge Latifeh Yarshater who passed 20 years ago as a pioneer for women. She was USIS cultural advisor in Tehran 1951-1961 and a founding member of the National Council of Women of Iran. An author of English and Persian literary pieces, she is missed!

Dr. Yarshater and an admirer last summer celebrating the announcement of the establishment of the Yarshater Center at @Columbia. The legacy of Dr. Yarshater lives on through PHF.

Our Founder and former President, the esteemed Dr. Eshan Yarshater. Dr. Yarshater was a Professor of Iranian Studies at @Columbia. He was also the founding editor Encyclopædia Iranica.
