50-something recent Couch to 5K graduate, now obsessive but not fast Parkrunnner!! 🏡 🏃♂️ = Pontefract but always looking to widen my NENDY #parkruntourism
@SunnyvaleBT Thanks for the response guys! We’ll be staying in the city centre so will have a think about options but will definitely be coming as we want 🇺🇸 on our Parkrun profiles!
See you in a few months’ time
🇬🇧 🏃♂️ 🤝 🇺🇸 🏃♂️ 🌳!
@Seamie33@tommy20times@Fairviewparkrun 👍 we were staying at the top of O’Connell Street and walked down one of the main roads straight to it…..a great wake up call after a distillery tour and several hours on the Guinness the day (err…and night) before! 🇮🇪🥃 🍺 🏃♂️
@tommy20times@Fairviewparkrun@Seamie33 Think it’s the closest one, walking wise at least, to the city centre so I imagine it’s gets a lot of Parkrun - and actual! - tourists too!
On 17 March 2012 I completed my first parkrun. I never thought that it would lead to being invited to Number 10 to celebrate the 20th anniversary. Such a privilege #loveParkrun
@Babsytherunner Have worked and lived, sorry “stayed” 😉, twice in Scotland and became a CalMac ferries geek but think if we go there, it’ll be easier to fly from GLA….Islay has a runway doesn’t it, it’s not one of those beach landings?!
