@damnang2 People forget that the biggest moat for neoclouds is power, not GPUs. Many of them have existing grid access from crypto mining. Takes 3-5 years for new grid access typically
@MitchMartan98 Why would we be talking about slowdowns when they JUST guided AI capex less than 3 months ago? That would be absurd. Maybe they’ll slow down someday, but not anytime soon.
@LiebermanAustin How are hyperscalers going to replicate grid access, when it takes 3-5 years to get permits? Companies like IREN, APLD, CIFR, WULF, GLXY have access to the grid from their crypto mining business. THAT'S their moat.
@VKMacro if you read the press release it's literally just a plea to the market to not punish them too hard if internal plans fail bc there's a "backup plan". These overreactions are ridiculous.

@jimcramer Many of the neoclouds have access to grid power from their crypto mining businesses. That’s their real moat and something that other hyperscalers don’t have and desperately need. New grid access could take 3-5 years.
@oguzerkan Many of the neoclouds have access to grid power from their mining business. That’s a moat that none of the companies you mentioned can replicate. New grid access takes 3-5 years at minimum. CIFR, APLD, IREN, etc… already have the power hookups.
