OpenAI is changing how ChatGPT works for Free and Go users, starting next week, they can use unlimited text chats.

The rollout begins the week of August 10, so it may not appear for everyone immediately.

-Limits remain on file uploads, image creation and other tools.
-Unlimited access applies only to normal text conversations.

Free and Go users also get GPT-5.6 Luna as the default model, and a new Think button for harder questions needing more reasoning.

Yeah fuck it- looking at the general responses to the summer update (on Twitter), it once again confirms for me that most people in the TF2 sphere don't actually play the game. No one is talking about the matchmaking system breaking, AGAIN. Want to play on the new maps? Sorry! No one is talking about the maps breaking/the insane frame drops on one of the new maps. No one is talking about the new hard game crashes, amongst other broken shit. But don't worry guys, Sniper is a cowboy now! Cough up $2.50 a crate to roleplay as everyone's favorite meme, Big Iron!

How is this acceptable from a multi-billion dollar company? Why are we not holding Valve to a higher standard? This is pathetic. Of course you'll see the usual non-argument: "The game is old, move on, just stop playing it!" As if though that would be an acceptable solution for ANY other game offered as live, playable, and monetized for tens of millions each year. And my personal favorite : "JUST SHUT UP AND ENJOY THE UPDATE!" I wish I was kidding.

What the fuck is wrong with us? Is ignorance and cognitive dissonance all that's left? This has to stop, because unless we do something, it's only going get worse.

They confirmed that operations will shut down soon, “Rockstar have made it clear that FiveM is the only authorized platform for GTAV multiplayer modding”

PSA: Take-Two has issued a C&D to the developers of RageMP (a long time competitor to FiveM), the platform will cease all operations by August 31, 2026.

“All remaining community servers are expected to cease operations by August 31, 2026. By that time, community servers must have migrated.”
