This is why I am a firm believer that the gap between each prequel should have been 10 years.

That would mean that Obi Wan would be 25 in TPM, 35 in AoTC, and 45 in RotS, with him being 64 in ANH

It also makes more sense that the Republic is ready for ANYTHING if CW is 10 years
