Phoenix address two key problems critical to institutional adoption of onchain finance today: 1) duration risk & 2) (il)liquidity risk.
We've been heads down building for the past 6+ months...and super excited to bring the new & improved Cork into the wild for 2026's explosion of onchain credit assets & RWAs.
Cork Phoenix is live on Ethereum mainnet!
Phoenix is the next phase of Cork, a programmable risk layer for onchain assets such as RWAs, vault tokens, and yield-bearing stablecoins.
Keynoting at @AgenticSummit, hosted by @Microsoft in NYC tomorrow at 4PM ET
Agents are already managing risk onchain but their only tool is exit, and when that's everyone's only tool it turns into a stampede
Cork is building the toolkit they don't have yet
Studying history is important, because it lets us understand the shape of how change works.
Make risk markets programmable onchain is going to open up so many new possibilities the same way actuarial science and probability theory did.
OpEd: 🗣️ Tokenized RWAs will thrive during the next crypto downturn because their yield is anchored to real economic activity, not crypto leverage, argue Cork's Rob Schmitt, researcher Borja Neira, and RWA.xyz's Bryan Choe.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Senator Bernie Moreno says the "banking cartel is in full panic mode" over crypto Clarity Act.
"For decades, these banks have treated your deposits like their personal piggy bank, paying you next to nothing while lending YOUR money out for massive profits and executive bonuses."
"Now that innovative stablecoins threaten to break their monopoly and give you actual financial freedom? They're running to Congress again, screaming about threats to economic growth and financial stability."
my reaction to everyone going to the Consensus closing party at E11EVEN the night before the conference even ended (I’m much more sophisticated and went to LIV instead)
When yields are high, everyone assumes the risk must be high to match. When yields compress, everyone assumes the risk has compressed too…..except that’s not actually how it works!
@medeana@mirandamartell We have been chatting about this all day! No one knows the answer but one Rabbi Rick Jacobs is one person I have heard speak on it
