I am not involved in the operation of the schools anymore. The travel is just due to our blended family arrangements. That won’t be the case if elected. And, as the article mentioned, this is just data on where the plane is, it doesn’t mean that I’m with it.
If elected, governing will be my only professional undertaking. Won’t have any other projects and any current business will be passed off.
About half of America are extroverts. They're the types who post their thoughts on social media. So it's mostly just the extrovert half of Democrats who celebrate the death of Charlie Kirk who outed themselves to the public and got fired. That means the other half still believe the same thing, but keep their jobs as public school teachers, University professors, nurses, and high ranking military positions at every branch of service. Sleeper cells.
"If we are all going to be destroyed by an atomic bomb, let that bomb when it comes find us doing sensible and human things—praying, working, teaching, reading, listening to music, bathing the children, playing tennis, chatting to our friends over a pint and a game of darts—not huddled together like frightened sheep and thinking about bombs. They may break our bodies (a microbe can do that) but they need not dominate our minds."
- CS Lewis
If I had any recommendation for all of us it would be this:
Take a day off of social media and while doing so fast and pray.
Fast and pray for your own sin.
Fast and pray for your ideological enemies.
Fast and pray for the salvation of the lost.
"Prostitutes are in no danger of finding their present life so satisfactory that they cannot turn to God: the proud, the avaricious, the self-righteous, are in that danger."
- C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain
"The two facts which do startle the modern mind with an irrational sense of wonder are first that he was an artist and second that he was a priest." - GK Chesterton, the Everlasting Man
@elonmusk@grok Christ was both full of 100% grace and 100% truth. Jesus of Nazareth was both fully man, and fully Son of God. Who died in our stead to defeat sin and death and bring us back into relationship with God. If we don't accept his free sacrifice, we will spend eternity in torment.
