Again and again, shame on Western media that continues to call this a “ceasefire.”

By the Western media’s definition, an Israeli “ceasefire” apparently includes the continued killing of families, especially those with very young children, blowing up residential buildings, burning tents sheltering displaced people, banning international journalists, blocking life-saving medical supplies, and restricting, and on many days completely preventing, patients from leaving Gaza for urgently needed medical treatment abroad.

⭕️ About 400,000 forcibly displaced people in Lebanon have returned to their home regions, around 40% of the more than 1.2 million uprooted since Israel re-escalated its war on March 2, Social Affairs Minister Haneen Sayed said on Monday, according to the state-run National News Agency.

The number sheltering in reception centers has fallen to 13,000 from 37,000, she said, with 213 centers closed. Only Nabatieh has seen more centers open, for people wanting to stay close to their villages.

Many still cannot go home. Israel occupies a strip of southern Lebanon behind the “Yellow Line,” and countless returnees have found their homes reduced to rubble. Israel has also killed at least 4,247 people in Lebanon since March 2 and wounded more than 12,000.
