@Nell_BTP WR and TE are 2 different positions my man. Chig will be a huge weapon for the offense, but that wasn’t the point of the question. Don’t understand people who think once you get a few weapons you should just stop trying to acquire more
@ajpeebles@jcalvinmeyer Get out of your house my man. Players do this ALL the time. Go hate somewhere else bc your fanbase is one of the worst. Also, how soft to get hit by slowly thrown ball and have to be taken out
Fun Draft Exercise:
Rank the units as far as what unit would move the needle for the Commanders the most:
1. JD5 x Jeremiyah Love
2. Terry McLaurin x Carnell Tate
3. Caleb Downs x Nick Cross
4. Mansoor Delane x Trey Amos

Immediate thoughts on the Orioles' trade for Shane Baz:
- This is yet another example that the Orioles are more focused on the present and the short-term than the medium-to-long-term.
- Baz's 2025 season is much better than his 4.87 ERA shows. He proved he can handle a 30-start workload post-TJ, and his underlying metrics maintain that his upside as a former first-round pick is there.
- It's clear the Orioles (and Rays) both valued Baz, because that is quite the haul Tampa Bay got in return. Forret has been superb in minors. Overn popped last season. De Brun and Bodine were first-round talents.
- Baz essentially replaces Grayson Rodriguez in the rotation. Baz's floor is higher since he's healthy, and there's no reason his ceiling can't be just as high as Grayson's is.
Scott Boras said he’s talked with Jackson Holliday and Gunnar Henderson after the Pete Alonso deal:
“It gives them a sense of pride that this franchise is committed.”
You don’t sign Pete Alonso and do nothing else. This is a message that the Orioles finally want a seat at the grownups table. I expect a big free agent pitcher and a major trade should be coming as well. It took longer than we wanted but they’re making Money Moves!!
Even after agreeing to terms with Pete Alonso, sources say the Orioles remain engaged with the top end of the starting pitching market.
The Orioles have had talks with free agent LHP Framber Valdez.

@WarriorsDad75x@CaptainCons Which is Tulane’s best win (even though Duke isn’t that good). More of these type wins and they get even more respect. Although, people keep telling me P4 teams won’t schedule G5 teams, so not sure how they played this 😵💫
@HisaoNakai8@CaptainCons Don’t disagree, but the G5 is the one facing an issue. No one respects them bc of their weak strength of schedules. It’s a lazy take to say there’s no way to improve that
@pokeroots@CaptainCons I’d love to see that, since it’s on “record.” I get the hate for the SEC, but it’s hard to argue facts that they are the best. They get most of the top recruits and they get the most players drafted to the NFL
Georgia won 29 straight games, lost by 3 on a bad call to Bama in the SEC title, got dropped from 1 to 6, and instead of bitching and moaning about refs and committees they went and laid a 63-3 beat down on FSU in a game where all of their healthy draftable players played
Look where UGA is now and tell me it didn’t matter. How you do anything is how you do everything. If your core program traits only matter when things go your way then they don’t actually matter. Notre Dame just told their players it’s okay to quit when things don’t go your way. I think it will have negative consequences on the immediate future of the program
