I just launched The Bittensor Bull π
A free weekly breakdown of what actually happened on Bittensor: subnet news, real numbers with sources, one deep-dive, and the risks.
Issue #1: "256 β 2,500"
1.
Null Consensus is live.
It's opt-in. Subnets can scale from 256 to 2,500 participants, and miners can register with proof-of-work instead of burning TAO.
Yuma stays the default. Here's why it matters π
2.
> 64% of all TAO is staked right now.
Holders aren't flipping it. They're locking it into the machine economy.
3.
Etao is coming: subnet owners will set their own emission splits instead of the fixed 18/41/41.
More control for builders, and more ways for subnets to compete.
4.
Also in Issue #1:
Engy SN53 reportedly hit 50B+ tokens in a day
OpenRoboto SN80 putting robot data collectors on Solana via peaq
Targon SN4's roadmap and buybacks
My take
@Donaxbt Bitcast SN93 is already on pace: $93K of alpha buybacks in 30 days, about $1.1M annualized, funded by companies paying for reach, not recycled emissions. You don't need 100 subnets doing it to move TAO, you need 10 doing it consistently.
@markjeffrey And open weights get cheapest on open networks. engy SN53 just priced DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at $0.03/M input and $0.12/M output, 80% under DeepSeek's own list. When customers can swap that easily, price wins, and that's exactly what Bittensor's inference subnets compete on.
@gandreou007@const_reborn It's already starting. Bitsec SN60 signed Beam SN105, and Bitcast SN93 became OpenRoboto SN80's distribution partner. Borrowing against alpha is the next unlock, because it lets builders fund growth without dumping.
One wallet put 1,496 TAO (~$388K) into the two qBitTensor Labs subnets this morning, in under an hour.
SN63 Enigma: 748 TAO
SN48 Quantum Compute: 748 TAO
They're today's top two gainers on Bittensor, +22.1% and +18.3%.
Same team, same buyer, both subnets. Watching whether it holds.
NFA.

@opentensor@const_reborn The "subnets buy each other's services" part is already starting. Bitsec SN60 just signed Beam SN105 as a security client, and Bitcast SN93 is now OpenRoboto SN80's distribution partner.
Inter subnet revenue is the number I'm watching next.
@SiamKidd@KommsApp Someone noticed early. @bittensor_alert flagged wallet 5GFASTQ putting 702 TAO (~$183K) into SN27 at 8:11 AM ET, about 20 minutes before this post. Same wallet has been rotating into SN28, SN51 and SN85 over the last day.
@stacy_muur Same lesson playing out on Bittensor. OpenRoboto (SN80) is building physical AI and just handed distribution to a partner instead of grinding posts: Bitcast SN93 announced this morning it's scaling OpenRoboto Shift. Build the product, rent the reach.
@2xnmore The receipts are starting to show up. Bitcast SN93 did $93K in buybacks over 30 days from companies paying for reach, and today it signed on as OpenRoboto's distribution partner. eTAO makes owner splits public, so revenue vs emissions is now easy to audit.
The SN92 whale is still rotating.
Wallet 5GFASTQ this morning, per @bittensor_alert:
SN85 Vidaio: 721 TAO ($188K)
SN51 Lium: 756 TAO ($197K)
SN27: 702 TAO ($183K)
That SN27 buy landed about 2 hours after @KommsApp announced it acquired the subnet.
~2,179 TAO (~$568K) in 45 minutes.
Copy the whale or fade it?

@GoonBoyCrypto@KommsApp Short version.. SN27 just changed hands. Komms, a team building an encrypted workspace and community app, acquired it today and renamed it from Orion. Kaspa's L1 orders the events, and Bittensor's SN27 handles indexing and verification.
@SportsRadioWIP Idiot. Jordan was announced last all the time for the Bulls. Save then best for last. Get spike off the damn radio. I started listening to 97.5 a lot more haha.
@2xnmore The 65% of single-cluster speed on Orion is the number I'd track. Every merge step win like this 5x closes that gap, and the GPU supply is already here: Lium SN51 says 91% of its $30m in hardware is rented. Training plus compute on one network.
