I actually have the insurance, so I’m not talking out of my ass. They don’t only cover 10%. Whether it’s worthwhile is debatable, but that’s not what you said. You said people couldn’t afford it which is BS. If you’re doing two cleanings a year and no procedures it’s a waste. It pays off if you need fillings etc.

Similar to health insurance btw, car insurance or any INSURANCE. It only pays off if it needs to be used.

Your last two sentences are spot on. Most of these idiots don’t have a clue what comes after it’s all “torn down.” People don’t appreciate things until they are gone, and as many issues as there are here it’s better than the vast majority of the world. Most of them just regurgitate, from a room in their parent’s house, whatever they hear on social media.

I hadn’t heard that in anything I’ve listened to but I’ll take your word for it. I think you’re looking at it very optimistically, if you think they are getting Skubal, a power bat, and possibly adding to the bullpen. You’re basically saying the Braves are going to clean out their top 10-15 this deadline. That’s not happening, There is zero precedent for Alex operating that way. It’s always fun to dream though, that’s what makes the deadline so fun.

That’s a world series or bust trade. You’re not getting him for Ritchie as the centerpiece, it’s a sellers market and there is competition. Of course you try, but if the ask is AJSS plus 2 more top 10 prospects do you do that? The Braves haven’t hit consistently enough to think they are one starter away.
