It’s all starting to make sense now. Pre-ordered my #PS5  with @AmazonUK @amazon , delivery through @Hermesparcels... Thursday I got a warning it was delayed, Friday nothing and suddenly this morning supposedly they tried delivering it... (spoiler: they didn’t). #AmazonPS5Scam

@AmazonHelp I get it’s difficult, esp. w/ #COVID #lockdown. What I don’t get is that you’re telling me „Held by carrier - customer to arrange delivery“. And then Hermes tells me something completely different. Also, expectation mgmt: just say there’s a 48hrs delay. #AmazonPS5Scam

@bexlectric Hey Bex, you might want to also look into the Hermes supply chain... if it didn’t happen at Amazon it seems something would have occurred at Northern Hub Warrington or Central London carrier facility. Might be worth comparing with others.

They also went ahead and gave me a 10 GBP voucher. @Hermesparcels, pressure is on you now to actually deliver the package with a functioning #ps5 in it.
