Israel’s government is buying tourism ads on Ted Cruz’s podcast, whose ad revenue is contractually routed by iHeartMedia to a super PAC supporting Cruz.

That arrangement raises campaign-finance concerns because foreign governments cannot directly or indirectly fund U.S. campaigns.

However, experts say it may be legal unless Israel specifically directed its payments to the PAC.

An Apple AirTag just tracked a shipment of rare books to a secret Amazon AI facility in Las Vegas, where texts are cut apart, scanned, and destroyed to train AI.

Suspecting that bulk purchases of rare and obscure books were destined for AI training, journalists at 404 Media teamed up with an independent bookseller to plant an Apple AirTag inside a volume shipped as part of an anonymous 1,000-book order.

The tracking device traveled across multiple states, eventually terminating at a high-security Amazon facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Inside this warehouse, a specialized unit code-named VGT3 systematically processes incoming books by slicing off their bindings, scanning the pages for digital intake, and destroying the physical originals.

I worked two of Trump's presidential campaigns.

When I say there were crowds lined up a mile and a half long with people trying to get into the rallies, that is no exaggeration. Those who didn't make it in, often stood in the summer heat and freezing cold outside the arenas listening to the rally being broadcast just to be part of the event.

I also live just outside Myrtle Beach and my neighbor attended last night's rally.

There were no lines.

There were empty seats.

It's incredible how the tech types could avoid pretty much all of the criticism and regulatory pressure they're facing by even just pretending to have an inkling of a sense of noblesse oblige, and hiring Americans while investing in American towns

Instead they're intransigently as rapacious as possible, and might even be putting their businesses at risk by maintaining that attitude

At a certain point it's a violation of their fiduciary duty to shareholders to be behaving in this fashion, given the long term problems their behavior is creating
