It must be exhausting being a game dev in this modern day and age. You make a game with a specific vision in mind. And these hateful weirdos drag your game into every culture war, just finding things to be upset about.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying. People only look at one set of data as the end all, be all. Which is why discussions around gaming has become toxic.
Game journalist here. We rate games based on how good they are and how much we enjoy them, not on how many Steam concurrent players we think there will be. Also, this doesn't account for all the other platforms Mina the Hollower is available on. What a stupid argument.
@edeh_o_o The tenacity mechanic is a build up. The way it’s supposed to work is when tenacity is triggered initially, the character gains 30% CC immunity. You only gain 100% tenacity if you take a certain amount of CC after the initial 30%
@JokerNarukami That’s the issue I have when it comes to this “discourse”. Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox don’t have a way to check current player numbers. So people are only looking at one set of data.
I find it funny how people will say that “opinions of game journalist mean nothing”. Yet every time IGN glances at a game, the entire game community loses their mind. Like, why are we getting so heated and something that doesn’t mean anything?
@PaulTassi The antiwokes have brainwashed people into believing that anything that involves black people is woke. They saw the VA for Diana was a black women, and that was enough to start making those claims.
No human being is perfect, but it’s a red flag to me when people don’t like Max. He literally just plays games while giving insight on gaming topics. He’s not out here grifting, and like you said, he mostly doesn’t engage with drama.
