Bars & restaurants sound the alarm that NFL Sunday Ticket streaming switch could crush small businesses and plead for Congress to step in.

.@POTUS on NFL broadcasts: "They could be killing the golden goose... They're making a lot of money; they could make a little bit less. You have people that live for Sunday. They can't think about anything else, and then all of the sudden they have to pay $1,000? It's crazy."
Hollywood executives must be held accountable for the content they show our children.
Thanks to @BrendanCarrFCC and his team, that accountability is coming.
Our kids should never be subject to political agendas. Let kids be kids.
Years ago, Congress passed a law that empowers parents to decide the types of TV programs that are appropriate for their kids by standing up a TV show ratings system.
But recently, parents have raised concerns with the industry’s approach—including with ratings creep.
Specifically, they argue that New York & Hollywood programmers are promoting controversial issues in kids programming without providing any transparency or disclosures to parents.
This undermines the whole point of the law and the ratings system parents rely on.
The FCC is now seeking comment on whether the industry’s approach provides parents with the types of information and disclosures relevant to them today.

Two companies decide what apps you can install, what payment systems you must use, and how much they skim off every transaction. Try that on a laptop and we'd call it what it is: a monopoly. Read @sayreevan's latest below.
"The real threat is not cable or broadband. It is the migration of live sports rights to Big Tech streaming platforms that operate outside any public interest framework. Amazon Prime, Google/YouTube, Apple, and Netflix have used live sports as a loss leader, pulling games behind exclusive paywalls with no obligation to the communities they serve."

Despite what his incompetent, feckless, jealous critics claim, Trump FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson is delivering monumental wins for competition and consumers.
Particularly, he’s fighting for affordability for real Americans in real America.

Fact Check: True.
“The dynamic with Ferguson, who has the final word at his agency, is different. ‘He has no problem telling his friends like me to go to hell if he does not get what he wants, as he should,’ Davis said.”

Chris is a patriot and was a huge asset to the FTC and Trump Administration. He’s a highly effective comms professional and policy thinker. He’s going to have great success in his next role.
Today is my last day at the Federal Trade Commission. It's been a great honor to serve my country under President Trump and Chairman Ferguson.
It's bittersweet to leave, but with @AFergusonFTC at the helm I know the @FTC will keep stacking up wins for the American people!
Big Tech lobbyists and their funded “trade groups” are panicking because @MarshaBlackburn’s bipartisan AI bill finally forces accountability.
The usual Big Tech-funded front groups @RSI, @NetChoice, @actonline and @progresschamber, are pulling out all the stops because holding Big Tech accountable threatens billions in profits.
President Trump will always protect America’s kids, stand up for Conservatives, help rebuild America’s communities, and promote America’s creative genius. He directed Blackburn to work with David Sacks to get this done.
Big Tech prostitutes like @adamthierer should be ashamed of their lies.
The FCC is examining the impact of sports streaming agreements amid rising costs and increased fragmentation across platforms. @DarrenBotelho has the latest.
.@BrendanCarrFCC to @ClayTravis and @BuckSexton on the next NFL TV contract: "If too many of those games start going behind a paywall, it's a problem on many fronts."
Hmmmmm.
The White House AI team agreed in principle to @Article3Project’s 4Cs framework, so states can protect:
- children
- communities
- conservatives
- creators
I hope this reporting below isn’t true.
