Day 1: I actually found out about the game through a random YouTube video of US presidents (AI voiced) playing it. I then realized, "Wait, there are OTHER Mahjong apps???"

No, Tracy Jordan. THIS was “Hard to Watch.” That’s right, I made a 30 Rock ref in a Mahjong game. I transcend popular media. 😎

Just got my first paycheck from the new job. It’s a strange relief to officially know it’s not a scam.

My child has finally begun sleeping through the night. To compensate, she screams for an extra hour before falling asleep.

Today I’m the most popular parent on the playground. #SolarEclipse

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

@TrainerThatch But you’ve basically done an upward spiral. That’s a KIND of circle!

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

I have a new #podcast in the works, and I want to interview people in the #Pokemon community. That includes hardcore TCG/VGC/Unite/Go players, musicians, artist, collectors, shiny hunters, influencers, and #Pokèmaniacs of every kind. If this sounds like you, drop me a DM!

Less than 10 minutes after I announce my new podcast… the Earth braces itself.

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

@PKMNCrossroads Thanks! Will do!

Something is waiting in the tall grass…

A true friend is one who’ll do the Rising Volt Tackler handshake with me (unironically). #PokemonHorizons

Another opportunity lost. And as I slumped on my couch to drown in depression, my phone rang with a new opportunity. And one I would cross the Blind Eternities to grasp! 😉

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

I spent 45 minutes today walking in the rain on a day I had no pressing need to do so. Yeah, I think I’m officially back into #PokemonGO.

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

@pokepress The narrative arc is YOU! The main boy/girl they show growing up with their Pikachu/Eevee is the viewer, walking through every game, meeting each hero, rival, and challenge throughout the series, and then walking forward to meet whatever comes next on our life-long journey.

[KC Smith @The_Quilldriver]

Still the greatest reveal from a #PokemonDay was the Bump of Chicken music video.
