I recently had a patient with motor neurone disease who passed away suddenly from respiratory decline. Today I received a phonecall from her son thanking me for all the support I gave to him and his mum ๐๐ญ Its so rewarding when your hardwork is recognised and appreciated

This week has definitely been my most challenging week as a NQOT. Having to deal with an urgent moving and handling case while having never done one before ๐ฑ Iโm feeling lucky to be surrounded by such a supportive team of people.

I recently helped solve problems my spinal patient was experiencing with transferring on and off his bed by working with my Technicians to create these bed blocks that helped provide a firmer base of support that enabled him to achieve greater stability through upper limbs ๐ช๐ฝ
