Podcast editing tips for X:
-pace. Get to the point fast.
- Hook in the first 2 sec — cut the intro, start on the best line
- Burn in captions (most people watch muted)
- Keep it 30–90 sec
- Cut filler words
- Native upload

Podcast audio tips

-Keep mic distance consistent (a fist's distance from your mouth, every time)
-Use a noise gate to kill background hum between sentences
- Normalize loudness to -16 LUFS (stereo) so it doesn't blast on Spotify
- Always record a backup track

How to record clean podcast audio .

1. Record in a small room (rugs, curtains, pillows kill echo)
2. Use a dynamic mic 6" from your mouth
3. Pop filter + shock mount = no plosives/rumble
4. Headphones on while recording to catch issues live
5. EQ in post, don't over-compress
